One person is dead and three others are injured after a crash on an Ontario highway on Monday, police say.
Ontario Provincial Police said that at around 4 p.m., emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 69 in Sudbury.
An 88-year-old resident of Noelville, which is southeast of Sudbury, died at the scene.
Three other people were taken to a local hospital, one of whom had life-altering injuries, police said.
The two others had serious but non-life-threatening injuries, OPP said.
Highway 69 was closed in both directions between Richard Lake and Estaire Road following the crash.
There is no word on the cause.
