One person is dead after a crash at a racetrack in Ontario over the weekend.

Ontario Provincial Police said emergency crews responded to the scene at around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday on a racetrack in Calabogie in eastern Ontario, west of Ottawa.

The single-vehicle collision resulted in the driver, who was the only occupant, dying at the scene, police said.

“The coroner attended the scene, and a post-mortem examination will be conducted,” OPP said.

“No foul play (is) suspected.”

Officers said an investigation is ongoing.
