1 dead in Ontario double shooting; police search for 2 suspects [Video]

Police in Markham, Ont., are searching for two suspects after one person was killed in an early morning double shooting.

York regional police say the shooting took place around 6:30 a.m. on Solace Road, in the city’s northeast suburbs.

In a brief update on social media, police say there were two victims and one of them is dead.

They say two suspects fled in a dark-coloured sedan.

Police did not immediately release further details.

They are set to hold an update later this morning.
