In this case, a third time would not be the charm.
Mississauga residents, particularly drivers, are hoping one of the busiest roads in the city steers clear of this year’s CAA list of the worst roads in Ontario after two consecutive appearances in the top 10.
The Mississauga section of Hurontario Street earned the fifth spot in 2024 and 10th spot in the 2023 installment of the CAA’s Worst Roads, which each year relies upon public feedback to determine roads in the roughest state of disrepair — or with other safety issues — across the province.
Again last year, Hurontario Street, which for several years has been undergoing construction due to installation of the Hazel McCallion Line light-rail transit route, was the lone road in Peel to crack the CAA’s top 10 list (see 2023 and 2024 lists below). Aberdeen …
