12-year-old child dies in hospital after collision in Ontario [Video]

A 12-year-old child has died after a collision in Ontario last weekend.

Emergency crews responded to a farm at around 10 a.m. on Saturday in the area of Highway 6 and Sideroad 2, south of Mount Forest, Ontario Provincial Police said.

“It was reported that a child riding on a bicycle collided with a skid steer,” OPP said.

The victim was flown to a trauma centre by Ornge air ambulance.

Police said the child died in hospital on Monday.

OPP said the cause of the crash is under investigation.
