Police have arrested a 16-year-old on armed robbery charges after three consecutive knife-point robbery calls at Simcoe Street and Beatrice Street in north Oshawa.
Police say the teenager approached three separate victims demanding money while armed with a knife on Sunday evening, just before 9 p.m. Officers located the suspect a short distance away and arrested him after a brief foot pursuit.
No physical injuries were reported.
A 16-year-old from Whitby is charged with three counts of robbery, disguise with intent and possession od a weapon for committing an offence.
He was held for a bail hearing.
