After a breezy weekend marked by overcast skies and scattered thunderstorms, the weather in southern Ontario takes a sunnier turn before rainy conditions return later in the week.
As of Sunday (May 18), cloudy skies will bring a 30 per cent chance of morning showers, with winds gusting up to 50 km/h adding a brisk feel to the day. Temperatures will climb to a high of 15 C, with a moderate UV index of 5.
Environment Canada recommends wearing sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat when outdoors between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., especially ahead of the rain. Skies are expected to gradually clear by the evening, with overnight lows dipping to 8 C.
