18-year-old arrested in connection to aggravated robbery at gas station, police say [Video]

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – An 18-year-old was arrested after his connection to the aggravated robbery at a gas station, according to Memphis Police Department.

Jameial Garner is charged with aggravated robbery.

On Monday, Feb. 24, at 7:00 p.m., police responded to a shooting at the Marathon gas station at 1671 Ontario Avenue.

Officers made the scene and found a 17-year-old with bruising and abrasions to his face.

He told police that he was standing by his car at the gas station when he was approached by two men.

One of the men was armed with an AR-style pistol, according to the affidavit.

The men took money out of the teen’s hand and pants.

According to the affidavit, he then resisted, and the men forced the teen to the ground and began to kick, punch, knee, and hit him with a weapon.

Both men then ran away from the scene.

Officers reviewed security footage and saw the armed suspect was wearing a gray-hooded jacket, black pants and black shoes.
