2 dead, 1 critically injured after crash in southern Ontario [Video]

Two people are dead and another has critical injures after a crash in southern Ontario on Tuesday, police say.

Ontario Provincial Police said emergency crews responded to the scene at 8:40 p.m. on Longwoods Road in Middlesex Centre, which is in the London area.

The crash involved two vehicles: a sedan and a pickup truck.

The driver of the sedan died at the scene, OPP said.

Two people who were in the pickup were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, one of whom has since died, police said.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing and anyone with information was asked to contact the OPP.
