Investigators said 24-year-old Sam Nordquist was subjected to months of torture before he was killed.
ONTARIO COUNTY, N.Y. — New York State Police have announced two additional arrests in the murder of a transgender man from Minnesota.
The two suspects, a 21-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman, were arrested Thursday night and face second-degree murder charges in the death of Sam Nordquist. Five additional suspects were arrested on the same charges last week.
According to his mother, Sam had traveled to New York in September 2024 to meet his online girlfriend, Precious Arzuaga, who is among the five suspects charged last week.
According to court documents, Sam was killed between Jan. 1 and Feb. 2, at Patty’s Lodge motel in Hopewell, New York. Investigators found his body in a field in a nearby county on Feb. 13. The documents reveal that Sam was subjected to sexual assault and prolonged beatings …
