Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 16 C, while the UV index will range between 4 and 8 — peaking at very high levels in some areas. Environment Canada advises applying sunscreen and wearing protective gear if heading outdoors before the rain arrives. Showers are expected to taper off by the evening, though cloud cover will persist overnight. The low will fall to around 11 C, with a risk of thunderstorms late in the evening.
