It’s shaping up to be another unpredictable week, with rain, cloudy skies and mild to warm temperatures. While some parts of southern Ontario will experience calmer conditions, other areas may face more severe weather.

As of Sunday (March 30), residents will see overcast skies with on-and-off freezing rain. Light winds will move in from the east at 20 km/h, while daytime highs will reach between 5 and 6 C.

Freezing rain will begin early in the day and taper off by noon, with an accumulation of nearly 5 mm. Temperatures will feel colder due to wind chills, especially in the morning, when it could feel closer to –7 C.

By the evening, rain will continue, with a risk of thunderstorms developing closer to midnight. Winds will shift to the southwest at 30 km/h, gusting up to 50 km/h.
