20 cm of snow incoming for parts of southern Ontario this weekend [Video]

Looks like winter is back with a vengeance, bringing even more snowfall to parts of southern Ontario this weekend.

As of Saturday afternoon, Environment Canada has upgraded its weather advisory for Halton and Hamilton, now forecasting 15 to 20 cm of snow by Sunday.

According to meteorologists, the heaviest snowfall is expected Saturday evening, with a possibility of lake-enhanced snow off Lake Ontario that could push totals closer to 20 cm.

Snowfall expectations remain unchanged for Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto, Durham and the Niagara Region, where up to 10  is still anticipated. However, those totals could increase depending on weather conditions.

Residents across the affected regions are warned of reduced visibility, slippery roads and hazardous travel conditions as snow accumulates throughout the evening.
