Six high school football games, one weekend: The 2025 York Rose Bowl Kickoff Classic brings elite regional and international teams to York this August.
YORK, Pa. — The York Rose Bowl Kickoff Classic will return for its third year on August 22-23, 2025, featuring six high school football games across two venues in York.
The event will showcase elite teams from Pennsylvania and beyond, including an international matchup with Clarkson North from Canada.
York Suburban Athletic Director Ron Coursey is spearheading the expanded tournament, which will take place at both Smalls Field and York Suburban Stadium.
“We’re really excited about raising the bar of the event. We have much better matchups, and much better fan fare around the event,” Coursey told FOX43 ahead of the 2024 event.
The weekend will open Friday evening with three games, beginning at 5:00 p.m. when Southwestern faces Susquehanna Township at Smalls Field.
