24-year-old man dead after Audi hits pole in Niagara, Ontario [Video]

A single-vehicle crash has claimed the life of a man in Niagara Region.

Emergency crews responded to the collision in the Regional Road 20 and Regional Road 27 area of West Lincoln around 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Niagara Regional Police said.

A 24-year-old man was driving an Audi A4 westbound on Regional Road 20 when he lost control and struck a pole, police said.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, police added.

Police said the investigation is ongoing with the Collision Reconstruction Unit and the coroner.
