32 high school hockey teams battle for trophy with major ties to First World War

The Royal Newfoundland Regiment Memorial hockey tournament has a prize that bears a huge amount of history in its name — the Beaumont Hamel cup. It bears the same name as the battle site where more than 700 members of the Newfoundland Regiment were killed, injured or went missing on July 1, 1916. The CBC’s Jeremy Eaton dropped by the rink in Paradise.
