Tracking a pair of stolen luxury cars from Niagara and Peel regions has led police to the arrest of four Ontario teens who’ve also been charged with drug trafficking offences.
The arrests happened earlier this month when officers with Waterloo Regional Police spotted two Acura TLXs in Kitchener that had previously been reported stolen.
Police said one of the Acuras was stolen from Peel while the other was taken in the Niagara area.
Police say they found the first stolen car around 5 p.m. on Nov. 7 when officers witnessed two male suspects “attending a stolen Acura occupied by a third female suspect.”
That’s when one of the males tried to make an escape with officers chasing the teen down on foot, police said.
