MEXICO, (December 24, 2021).- Through the Amnesty Law, 44 people have been released, reported the Undersecretary of Human Rights of the Ministry of the Interior, Alejandro Encinas, during the “morning”.
The official specified that there are still 795 cases to be resolved; He detailed that of them, 642 are women and 153 men. He mentioned that these cases correspond to crimes against health and abuses in indigenous communities.
Meanwhile, he mentioned that to date, the Ministry of the Interior (Segob) has 1,798 requests for amnesty. He indicated that 1,003 have already been analyzed. 56% have already been ruled, and 900 cases were declared inadmissible and 103 admissible.
