Police are searching for several suspects following a home invasion and robbery north of Brampton earlier this week.

The break-in happened on Tuesday shortly before 3 a.m. at a home on The Gore Road near Castlederg Side Road in Caledon, the OPP says.

Four men forced their way into the home while a resident was inside and two other suspects waited outside, investigators say.

No one was injured but police say property was stolen from the home.

All six male suspects were observed leaving the area in a dark coloured sedan, and police are asking anyone with information about the robbery to come forward.

The suspects are described as follows:

Suspect 1: A male wearing a dark sweater, dark shoes, light coloured gloves and a Nike balaclava.

Suspect 2: A male, wearing a dark coloured Champion hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
