6 suspects wanted in smash-and-grab robbery at jewelry store in Grimsby, Ontario [Video]

Police are on the lookout for six suspects who smashed their way into a jewelry store and made off with items on Saturday in downtown Grimsby in the Niagara Region.

Niagara Regional Police were called to Harmony Jewellers at 37 Main Street West shortly before 4 p.m. following reports of a robbery in progress.

Investigators say the suspects smashed through the store’s front door with sledgehammers before breaking several display cases to take merchandise. The group then fled the scene in a vehicle heading toward Mountain Street.

The store was open during the robbery, but no injuries were reported, police say.
