80 Tesla vehicles damaged at an Ontario city dealership [Video]

Police are investigating after multiple Tesla vehicles were damaged at an Ontario dealership.

Today, Hamilton police said that on March 19, officers were called to the Tesla dealership at 999 Upper Wentworth Street on Hamilton Mountain to respond to reports that several vehicles had been damaged.

Police allege that upwards of 80 vehicles that were parked outdoors were found with some degree of damage, including deep scratch marks and punctured tires.

While police did not ascribe a possible motive to the suspected mischief, Tesla vehicles have been targeted in recent months in response to owner Elon Musk’s involvement in the Donald Trump administration.

Musk has quickly become a polarizing figure in the United States and abroad in recent years but has faced more extensive criticism for cutting a significant number of public sector jobs through his government agency DOGE.
