‘Heavy, locally intense rainfall, ‘ damaging winds’ and possible ‘minor to major flooding’ is forecast across NSW, including the Sydney metropolitan area, says Steven Bernasconi from the Bureau of Meteorology. ‘There’s been seven rescues since Monday by the SES,’ says NSW premier Chris Minns, adding that the number is ‘expected to increase in the coming days’
