Over a thousand Grade 5 students from Brantford and Brant County will visit the Burford fairgrounds this week, to learn about the agri-food industry in Brant County.

Across 20 stations led by local farmers and volunteers, the youngsters will explore various elements of agriculture — from soil quality and pollination, to potential career options.

Dorothy Donkers oversees the 20 stations teaching students about local agricultural commodities.
