Four accused car thieves were arrested early Sunday when they stopped at a Wawa for a snack break after boosting two cars from a South Brunswick driveway, authorities said.

Police were called about 3:20 a.m. to the 600 block of Ridge Road, where a car had crashed and was left abandoned on a homeowner’s front lawn.

The car was traced to a resident a few blocks away on Welcome Farms Road. When an officer went to the home, the resident discovered both their cars had been stolen from the driveway.
