A woman who sold her prom dress online was stunned to find that very same dress in a thrift store over a decade later—and gave it new life.

Jillea Godin, 30, graduated from her small-town New Brunswick high school in 2011, and she was determined to have a unique dress for her prom.

With everyone in her class getting their dresses from the one store near their area, she took the chance while on a family vacation to Miami to get a dress she knew no one else would have.

“It was the peak of Jersey Shore and cheetah print, so I knew when I saw this fluffy blue monster, it was my dress,” Godin told Newsweek. “It was loud and matched my personality perfectly.”
