The New Orleans Police Department is searching for Steven Fifer, who is accused of breaking into a home on Brunswick Court on Saturday night.

NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department released the identity of a man investigators believe is connected with a home invasion resulting a multiple charges.

According to the NOPD, 55-year-old Steven Fifer is wanted for aggravated second-degree battery, home invasion, child endangerment, simple battery, and theft. 

Police said the incident occurred at approximately 9:41 p.m. when the suspect broke into the victims’ home in the 6300 block of Brunswick Court and began battering a female victim with his fists and a wooden club.

The suspect allegedly then violently attacked the victim’s son before stealing property and leaving the residence.
