The Canada Border Services Agency said Tuesday that the “partial systems outage” that was impacting customs services at the country’s airports has been resolved.

“We thank travellers for their cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience experienced,” the agency said in a statement to Global News.

Multiple Canadian airports had said the outage was affecting automated customs inspections kiosks used by international travellers entering Canada.

Toronto Pearson International Airport wrote on X the outage was affecting the inspection kiosks in two terminals, and warned travellers they “may experience longer than normal wait times at customs.”

Vancouver International Airport told Global News CBSA personnel are manually processing all international travellers while the agency works to resolve the outage.

A spokesperson for Montréal–Trudeau International Airport told Global News there was “no major impact” on its operations but that the outage was causing a slowdown.
