Shelter Pleads for Someone to Rescue Huge 27-Pound Cat [Video]

A TikTok video pleading for someone to adopt an overweight 27 pound cat has gone viral, leaving social media users heartbroken and hopeful for the giant feline.

The video was posted by Kim Russell who has rescued many kittens and frequently visits the Peterborough Humane Society in Ontario, Canada, to help out. When she heard about Minnie, the overweight cat who needs adopting, she wanted to go in and meet the not-so-little kitty.

Minnie’s large and round body certainly took Russell’s breath away, with her telling Newsweek she’s “the biggest cat [she’s] ever seen.”

She spent around 10 minutes with Minnie, who is thought to be around 6 years old, and in that short amount of time, she says she could already tell just how sweet and loving the cat truly is.
