Mayor Lester Miller and the Macon-Bibb community came out in droves to celebrate Hispanic History Month

MACON, Ga. — The city of Macon continued its celebration of Hispanic History Month.

On Saturday, Mayor Lester Miller and the Macon-Bibb community came together for the third annual Macon-Bibb Hispanic Festival.

“Hispanic heritage is worth celebrating, and this festival does just that,” Miller said. “We’re excited to expand this celebration to Carolyn Crayton Park. I hope many of you will come to eat some great food, dance, and learn more about the different Hispanic cultures in our community.”

The festival was organized by Macon-Bibb County, who partnered with NotiVision Georgia and multiple hispanic leaders from around the community.

The event, located at Carolyn Crayton Park, was free and open to anyone that wanted to attend. It had live music and entertainment, arts and crafts vendors, food truck vendors, a kids’ zone full of activities like bouncy houses and …
