Julia Cleveland’s family is devastated. 

The 46-year-old was “a wonderful and talented local Toronto Jazz musician and composer,” her family said in a statement. She was a drummer and worked as a finance manager for the Toronto Musicians Association — the union for musicians in the GTA — as “her way of giving back to the Toronto music community.”
