WEDNESDAY EVENING: We started our Wednesday back on the mild side with lows that were in the upper 40s to mid 50s. A cold front has swept through today bringing breezy wind and cool air from Canada down into our region. Afternoon temperatures were cooler north and west where the front swept through first. This evening, skies remain fairly clear and the wind goes lighter. The northern valley and even parts of central ND will become quite chilly! There is a Frost Advisory in effect from 2am to 9am Thursday morning for temperatures as low as 35 degrees in the Devils Lake basin (Towner-Cavalier-Benson-Ramsey counties) as well as several counties throughout northwestern MN (East Marshall-Pennington-Red Lake-East Polk-North Clearwater-Mahnomen-South Clearwater-Hubbard-East Becker). Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
