Is fall here to stay in the Upstate area of South Carolina? The short answer is yes, most likely.This week will see the first significant cool down of the season so far. Overnight lows will dip into the 40s and 50s around the area giving more than just a nip in the air later this week. The big chill continues heading into next week as we await another strong cold front set to come through late Sunday into Monday. This will pull down Arctic air from Canada offering a more significant drop in temperatures and much drier air as well!The ”feels like” could be in the 20s and 30s for parts of western North Carolina next week and into the 40s around the Upstate.As we look further down the road, we are also on the brink of shifting weather patterns completely.
