DAWSON CREEK –Suspect well-known to police, Tanner Murray had his bail hearing delayed today.
He is in custody after police say a search of his residence led to the seizure of illegal guns, over 1000 rounds of ammunition and drugs including suspected fentanyl and heroin. Police say support gear for organized crime was also seized.
He will remain in custody in Prince George after his bail hearing was adjourned today. It is unclear why the hearing was delayed.
Next Wednesday, a date will be set for a new bail hearing.
Murray recently made headlines when he was at the centre of the Fifth Estate episode looking into Dawson Creek’s drug turf war. The CBC alleges Murray was in contact with Darylyn Supernant the day she disappeared.
