Videos on social media showing fast-moving motorbikes reaching speeds of more than 250 km/h have led police to lay some 50 charges against a man from Bolton.
The investigation started last month when Peel Regional Police say they discovered an online social media channel posting videos showing a motorcycle rider driving at what police call “excessive” speeds.
Police say that between June and September, a motorcycle rider posted multiple videos showing reckless driving and a bike reaching speeds of up to 258 km/h.
Some of the clips show the rider racing another motorcycle and weaving in between vehicles at high speeds in manoeuvres police called both “daring” and “alarming.”
