Justin Trudeau‘s younger half-brother has endorsed Donald Trump for US president.
Kyle Kemper, 40, said he believes the Republican candidate and former president is a ‘genuine person’ in a video posted to X on Monday.
‘Donald Trump, I really believe in my gut, my heart, that he’s a genuine person,’ Kemper said from Florida, adding that Trump ‘wants to leave a good legacy.’
Kemper, who shares mother Margaret with Trudeau, claimed a Trump presidency ‘in a nutshell, is going to mean a shift in the vibration of Canada.’
‘It’s going to open up the opportunity for government innovation, within Canada, likely massive tax reform in Canada,’ Kemper said, adding that the ‘media is going to get exposed.’
Kemper spoke as his progressive half-brother faces being booted from office in a 2025 election, with Canadians fed-up of Trudeau’s liberal policies.
