Ramp and lane closures coming to Burlington Skyway [Video]

Drivers who traverse the Burlington Skyway will face some traffic disruptions in the days ahead.

The Ontario Ministry of Transportation has announced it is closing one lane of the Skwyway on the QEW Fort Erie bound from Friday, Nov. 8 at 10 p.m. until Monday, Nov. 11 at 5 a.m.

During this period the ramp from the Eastport Drive collector lane to the Skyway Bridge will also be closed. There will be no access to the Skyway from the collector lanes.

The Eastport Drive collector lanes, Eastport Drive and all ramps at Northshore Boulevard interchange will remain open.

The closure was originally scheduled for this weekend but was cancelled due to expected high winds.
