VIDEO: Man shot in garage of Ontario home [Video]

Police have released a video they say shows the moment a man was shot in the garage of his Ontario home on Wednesday.

York Regional Police said that officers responded to Digby Crescent, which is north of Brimley Road and Steeles Avenue East in Markham, at 4:25 p.m. for an unknown trouble call.

Officers found a man with a gunshot wound to his leg.

He was taken to a trauma centre with injuries that were reported to be non-life-threatening.

“Video recovered from the area shows a dark-coloured, newer-model Acura TLX sedan arrive and a suspect exit the passenger side,” police said.

“He is described as a Black male, wearing a black hoodie, black pants and black face mask.”

Police said it’s believed the incident was targeted.

Investigators are asking that anyone with information or video footage from the area around the time of the shooting come forward.
