A person raking their lawn came across a surprise discovery, leading to internet users sharing their different theories and suspected back stories about how it got there.

A Reddit user with the moniker u/BigheadReddit shared a photo of a wedding ring they found while raking leaves in their lawn in Alberta, Canada. The person posted a photo holding the gold band in a post that has since gone viral with over 12,000 upvotes.

Hundreds of other Reddit users shared their thoughts about the image, with many theorizing about how the ring ended up there to be found by the homeowner.
