VICTORIA –Newly elected MLAs who will now represent the Peace Region have officially been welcomed into their roles, taking part in an Oath Ceremony in Victoria Tuesday.
Jordan Kealy has been sworn in as the MLA for Peace River North. The BC Conservative won the election with over 74 percent of the vote against Dan Davies, who has held the title since 2017. The first-time member taking to social media to thank constituents for their support.
“I’m at a loss—almost—for words, but I am officially the MLA for Peace River North. Thank you to everyone for your support. I am honored to be your representative for the next 4 years,” said Kealy in a Facebook post.
