HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA (FOX Carolina) – The Halifax Regional Police Department provided an update a month after a woman was found dead inside a walk-in oven at Walmart.

On October 19, officers said they were called to a “sudden death” at the store and found the body of a 19-year-old woman in an oven.

Police released a video on Monday, November 18, stating after reviewing footage, conducting several interviews and working with the medical examiner they do not suspect foul play. They do not believe anyone else was involved in the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death and do not believe her death was suspicious.

The Department of Labor and medical examiner service is continuing to investigate.

Police said they expect this to be their final update on this case.
