Some southern Ontario towns and cities could see their first blast of snow later this week.
Most of the GTA will likely only see rain but areas to the north will be cold enough for that precipitation to turn to snow.
After a mild and sunny Monday, the weather is forecast to be mainly cloudy and rainy in Mississauga, Brampton, Halton Region, Niagara Region and much of Durham Region.
Hamilton, however, will see its temperature drop to 4 C on Thursday bringing a 40 per cent chance of snow or rain in the morning, according to Environment Canada.
Areas in north Durham Region such as Port Perry could see snow on Friday evening and into the weekend. This area has a 40 per cent chance of showers or flurries on Friday and Saturday.
