Death in Paradise’s Florence Cassell star transforms for new role in first look [Video]

Death in Paradise star Josephine Jobert appears as a new detective in the first look of the Canadian series Saint Pierre.

The actress plays Deputy Chief Geneviève ‘Arch’ Archambault in the new series, which follows the story of a police team on the French territory of Saint Pierre and Miquelon, off the coast of Canada’s Newfoundland.

Josephine, who hails from Paris, will play Arch. The arrival of Inspector Donny ‘Fitz’ Fitzpatrick—played by Allan Hawco—causes some trouble for the pair. The show will premiere in Canada on Monday, January 6, 2025.

A synopsis for the show reads: “Although the islands seem like a quaint tourist destination, the idyllic façade conceals the worst kind of criminal activity which tends to wash up on its beautiful shores. At first, at odds and suspicious of each other, Arch and Fitz soon discover that they are better together… a veritable crime-fighting force.”
