The 13 First Alert Weather Team has issued a First Alert Weather Day for late Wednesday (Dec. 4th) through Thursday morning (Dec. 5th) for a combination of gusty winds and bitter cold, with snow adding in as a potential impact to your driving.

WIND: Speeds will slowly ramp up to 35-40 mph gusts (20-25 mph sustained) from the southwest by mid-morning Wednesday. As the front from that Alberta clipper rolls by, the wind will shift from the northwest and keep gusts up near 45 mph Thursday.

COLD:Temperatures will fall from the mid to upper-30s Wednesday afternoon, to 15-20° by sunrise Thursday. Given those winds, it will feel even colder on your skin than Saturday morning did: windchill near 0° or even lower in select cases.
