BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – The clipper system that brought us snow and rain last night and this morning has now moved off into New Brunswick. Some quick bursts of snow will remain through the night. For most skies will clear overnight, except in the north where mostly cloudy skies and snow showers are possible. Lows overnight will range from the mid-teens north to the mid 20s closer to the coast.

Our pressure gradient will be tightening overnight meaning our winds will be picking up. Gusts overnight will be out of the WNW upwards of 40 mph and will continue to gust up to 45 mph throughout the day on Friday. This will lead to areas of blowing snow & reduced visibility especially in northern locales, some scattered power outages are possible and wind chill values will FEEL like the single digits above and below zero.
