Police in Delta, B.C., are issuing an “urgent request” for the public’s help in finding an injured, 21-year-old man.

In a release issued Monday, Delta police asked residents living in and around the Sunstone neighbourhood to check their yards, sheds, cars and any sheltered areas for the missing person they identified only by the name Tajas.

Tajas left a home on foot around 3:40 a.m. on Monday, with a significant injury and “wearing only underwear,” said police.

Delta police describe the man as being around 5’9” tall and 120 pounds.

Anyone who locates Tajas is asked not to approach him and call 911 immediately.

“Multiple officers are currently in the area conducting a search as well as conducting a video canvas to aid in locating Tajas,” the release said.
