A suspect is at large and authorities are appealing for information after shots were fired at an Abbotsford home early Sunday morning.

Police were called to the 31500 block of Harris Road just after 6:15 a.m., according to the Abbotsford Police Department.

“The initial investigation has determined that a property owner arrived to find a man on his property,” police said.

“An interaction occurred between the owner of the property and a male suspect, resulting in the suspect discharging a firearm and fleeing on foot. No one was injured in this incident.”

Police dogs and the emergency response team were called in to assist with the search, but the suspect was not found.

The man was wearing a black Quicksilver-branded hoodie, jeans and a light-coloured baseball hat when last seen, AbbyPD said.
