It could be a foggy start to the day with more rain on the way in Mississauga, Brampton, Niagara Falls and a large part of southern Ontario.
Environment Canada issued freezing rain warnings on Monday for parts of the province including the GTA and Peel Region, with possibly slippery and hazardous conditions on the roads.
Tuesday’s commute may also be impacted by weather as the agency says to expect periods of fog for parts of the province.
The fog is expected to roll in on Monday night across Ontario and linger until Tuesday in Mississauga.
There’s also more wet weather in the forecast with a 40 per cent chance of rain or flurries during the day.
Some parts of the province could see the rain pick up with Waterloo and Durham expected to see more into the evening hours.
