Woman found on N.E. Calgary pathway taken to hospital [Video]

A woman was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition after being found on the Nose Creek Pathway in northeast Calgary.

Police responded to the pathway, near the 1100 block of 32 Avenue N.E., around 4 a.m. on Monday, after a passerby reportedly found a woman who was in medical distress.

The woman was taken to the hospital, where she remained as of Tuesday morning.

Officers blocked off several areas of the pathway system as part of their investigation.

Anyone who saw suspicious activity along the Nose Creek Pathway on Monday morning is asked to contact police.
