The cold temperatures return to Ottawa heading into the weekend, with overnight lows dipping into the minus double-digits over the next three nights.

Environment Canada’s forecast calls for overnight lows of -11 C tonight. -16 C on Friday night and -13 C on Saturday. The normal temperatures for this time of year are a high of -3 C and a low of -11 C.

It will be mainly cloudy today with a 70 per cent chance of flurries. The temperature will remain steady near -3 C, with the wind chill making it feel like -7 this afternoon.

Partly cloudy tonight with a 60 per cent chance of flurries. High -5 C.

Friday will be sunny. High -5 C.

The outlook for Saturday calls for sunshine and a high of -7 C.

Sunday will be cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of flurries. High -4 C.
