After frigid lows and bitter windchills, this weekend looks milder in southern Ontario.

Thursday’s weather brought strong winds and lows down to -10 C in the GTA. Areas east of Lake Huron were bracing for a blizzard and heavy snow.
The weather starts to change on Friday with a high of -2 C and sunny skies forecast for Mississauga, Brampton, Burlington, Oakville and Durham Region, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada.
Highs of around -4 C are expected in Hamilton and the Niagara Region on Friday.
On Saturday, it could be even warmer with highs of 1 C and sunny skies. Lows of around 0 C are forecast for the evening. It will be slightly cooler in Hamilton.
